The New Copilot Studio Experience

Model

The following models are listed in the new experience:
- Managed models such as the GPT-5 and Anthropic models.

It defines where the users can interact with the agent.
There are two ways to add an agent to a web app- The embed code can be added to any HTML web app, Using Microsoft 365 Agents SDK, and Agents Client SDK for native apps using iOS, Android and Windows.
The options include Teams+Microsoft 365, Demo website and App Embeds.

It defines the behaviors through structured instructions
There are 2 ways to add a skill: Upload a skill and Create from blank.
To upload a skill, the uploaded file must be a "SKILL.md" file or zip that includes SKILL.md
The SKILL.md file must contain the skill name and description formatted in YAML.
When creating from blank, you need to input the name of the skill, give a description of what the skill does and when to use it and instructions when the skill is activated.

It gives tools to connect the agent to external systems and actions.
Featured tools include Office 365 Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Excel Online (Business) and Microsoft Dataverse.
Different tools can be added such as Model Context Protocol, Connectors, Workflows.
Under Workflows, only those are supported which have the "When an agent calls the workflow" trigger.

It provides trusted context to guide decisions.
It helps the agent provide more relevant information and insights.
Featured knowledge sources are: Public websites, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Salesforce, Azure SQL
